Franklin Electric, in partnership with the National Ground Water Association (NGWA) and Oklahoma State University, has announced the recipients of the annual NGWA University Franklin Electric Scholarship. Recipients received complimentary access to foundational content through the Drilling Basics online training program powered by Oklahoma State University.
This year, Franklin Electric expanded the program to offer additional scholarships. Winners were evaluated on several criteria, including current experience and career goals. They were also asked to describe why NGWA training is important to them.
“This is an incredible opportunity for these individuals and our industry to foster continued growth and support people who are truly passionate about the future of our industry,” said Andrew Schwarze, Franklin Electric Senior Business Unit Director, US/Canada Water Systems. “By expanding our number of scholarship recipients, we’re assuring even more industry professionals are ready to solve tomorrow’s newest challenges.”
In addition to sponsoring the scholarships, Franklin Electric is a longtime supporter of the NGWA. The company is a Platinum Founding Industry Partner of the NGWA University’s Drilling Basics Course and a proud sponsor of the NGWA Learning Center that houses state-approved training for contractors, on-demand courses, member-exclusive webinars and more.
